| Mandela Day School Libraries delivered July 2013
It was a special occasion for both the Boikanyo Primary school and the Refithhile Pele Primary school north of the BMW Rosslyn plant in Pretoria on Mandela Day. Both school were the lucky recipients of Mandela Day school libraries built by the 46664 Bangle program and sponsored by BMW South Africa. The kids has a special treat in the opening by Hlubi Mboya (46664 international ambassador) and Victor Matfiled, Chiliboy Ralepelle and Pier Spies of the Springboks. The Libraries are a product of the greater Mandela Day campaign and specifically target schools with little to no infrastructure promoting the literacy and learning opportunities enjoyed by school with formal libraries. The Libraries were the 28th and 29th units delivered to date and will be the first two of 4 units sponsored by BMW South Africa which will be delivered in 2013 by the 46664 Bangle program. |
